PrivateChief Website: Describe a Simple Website and Your Chief Builds It
Website is the PrivateChief tool for simple sites built by conversation: a family reunion page, a team fundraiser, a small project. Describe what you need, your Chief asks what it should know and builds a draft, and nothing goes public until you confirm. The household in this walkthrough, the Ashfords, is invented for the demonstration.
Chapters
What Website does
- Builds a draft website from an ordinary conversation, asking only what it needs to know.
- Keeps drafts, releases and site data on your own PrivateChief home hub; PrivateChief's cloud servers provide only the secure doorway.
- Changes only the draft until you say otherwise.
- Publishing, restoring the previous version and taking a site offline each need your instruction and a confirmation on the Website screen.
- Because a published site is served from home, it is offline whenever the home hub or the home internet is.
What the narrator says
0:00A website, built by conversation
A family reunion, a team fundraiser, a small side project. Sometimes you need a simple website, and no time to learn how. With PrivateChief, you describe it, and your Chief builds it.
0:13Describe it, and your Chief drafts it
Laura Ashford, from a family invented for this demonstration, asks Savannah, the family's Chief, for a page for Sam's hockey fundraiser. Savannah asks what she needs to know, then builds a draft.
0:28Drafts and live sites, kept on your home hub
Every site appears here, as a draft or live. The drafts, the releases and the site itself stay on the family's own PrivateChief home hub. PrivateChief's cloud servers provide only the secure doorway.
0:44Nothing goes public by accident
Nothing goes public by accident. Publishing, restoring the previous version, or taking a site offline each needs a separate confirmation on this screen.
0:56Served from home
Because the site is served from home, it is offline whenever the home hub or the home internet is. The family reunion page is live, and the fundraiser is still a draft, waiting for Laura's yes.
