$199 a month covers your household and any number of businesses, each with its own Chief, on one dedicated server that we host, patch, monitor, and back up for you. Setup is $299, once. There is no equipment to buy and nothing to install.

If you cancel before your Chief is live, we refund the $299 setup in full and your membership never starts. Cancel within 30 days of the day it goes live and we refund the $299 and your first month. Metered AI usage is not part of the refund, and setup work we carry out in person at your home is work done and is not refunded.
Add as many businesses as you run, with no setup fee and no extra membership cost. Each one is a fully separate workspace; the only thing they share is the server.
Its own records
Each business keeps its own Books, contacts, tools, documents, and customer desk. Nothing from one business appears in another, or in your household.
Its own Chief and members
Each business has its own named Chief and its own members, with permissions set for that business alone. Belonging to one business never grants access to another.
Only the server is shared
The businesses and your household run side by side on your one dedicated server. One company with several brands can keep them together in that company’s own workspace.
You buy any equipment directly, and the manufacturer’s warranty is yours. If you would like us to set something up in person at your home, we quote that visit before it is booked.
Two ways to pay for the thinking.
The monthly price above covers the managed service: your dedicated server and its software, monitoring, updates, encrypted backups, support, and our ongoing care of your household and your businesses. It does not cover the AI capacity your Chiefs consume when they listen, reason, research, and speak. You choose how that is supplied, and you can change your mind later.
Either way, some capacity is always metered—voice is the main one—and that is billed at our cost plus thirty percent. There is no minimum and no bundled allowance you have to grow into. A quiet month costs little; a month where your Chiefs are talking, researching, and working through documents costs more.
Usage is billed one month behind, on the same invoice as your membership and shown as its own line. Your first invoice is the membership alone, and usage appears from the second onward. You can watch it accrue in your portal while the month is still running, ask us for the detail behind any line, and we will talk through what you are likely to use before you commit to anything.
One price, whichever way you use it. The membership is $199 a month whether it serves your household, your businesses, or both. The $299 setup builds your server, your Chiefs, and your first members’ access.
Every membership offers the same choice of AI capacity described above, and your order summary records which you have chosen. OpenAI is the supported provider today. There is no annual commitment or cancellation fee. If PrivateChief ever stops operating, our continuity pledge promises at least 90 days' notice and a complete export of your information.
