Your Business Chief runs your Google and Meta ads, inside limits you set.
Ads is a tool in PrivateChief Business. Your Chief plans campaigns, writes the ads, reads the results every morning and adjusts budgets by rules you chose, in your own ad accounts.
You decide what it may do on its own and what it must ask you first. The automatic guards can only pause a campaign or lower a budget; they can never raise your spending.
Promoto’s ad engine now lives inside PrivateChief Business.
The same connections to Google and Meta, the same charts and breakdowns, and the same daily review now come with a Business Chief who also knows your company, your customers and your books.
When members can start: Ads opens to members as soon as Meta finishes its review of the app, which we filed on 23 October 2026. Until Google completes its own review, any change your Chief proposes on your Google account waits for your tap.
Three layers of control, and you set all three.
Hard limits. A monthly ceiling across all your campaigns and a daily maximum for each one. No setting, rule or instruction can go past them, and only you can change them.
What your Chief may do on its own. For each kind of action, such as lowering a budget, raising one, writing a new ad, changing an audience or adding keywords, you choose Do it and tell me, Ask me first or Never. Three presets fill the table: Careful, Balanced and Hands-off. Starting a new campaign always asks you first, and a campaign you paused yourself is never resumed by the Chief.
Campaign rules. The method your Chief follows when it does act, chosen per campaign: a fixed budget, the 20% rule, a target cost per sale or lead, or the Chief’s own judgement within your limits.
Every instruction your Chief gives gets one of three answers from the engine: applied, with the network’s own confirmation; waiting for your approval; or refused, with the reason. The settings live in the engine itself, so a Chief cannot reach around them.
Budgets move in steps, on evidence, and only one way runs on autopilot.
Grow what makes money, gradually
Budgets change in steps (20% on Meta, 30% on Google) between a minimum and a maximum you set. A budget steps up only when the extra spend is adding profit compared with the best cheaper level, and steps down when it is clearly losing. After a cut it holds for seven days. Sales are credited to the day of the buyer’s first click.
At small-business volumes a level is judged only after 14 days and at least 10 results, because a cost per result built on fewer is mostly noise. Until then, the honest reading is “too early to say”.
A campaign that is not working gets stopped
The engine pauses a campaign by itself when it has spent 3 times your target cost per result with no results, 5 times with at most one, 8 times with at most three, or 12 times with at most six. Each step is set so that only about one fair campaign in twenty is stopped by mistake.
A second guard pauses at once if conversion tracking stops recording while clicks continue for two days, if ads are disapproved, or if money is being spent in places you did not allow.
One email each morning, in plain English
At the time you choose, your Chief reviews every campaign and sends what changed since yesterday and why, how each campaign is doing against its goal, comments that need attention, and any approvals, numbered. It also appears in the app and as a section of your morning briefing. You can ask for it every day, or only when something changed or needs you.
A hard pause that always works
Stop all is always on the Ads screen. It is a plain instruction to the engine that works even with the AI switched off, is safe to press twice, and then shows you what each network reports. Every campaign also has its own Pause and Resume.
The numbers come from the engine, not from the AI.
Today, the last seven days and this month against your ceiling, shown network by network and never blended into one figure.
“Is it making money?” for each campaign: sales matched to spend by click day, with the range where the numbers are thin.
Ad by ad results; on Meta, who saw it by age, gender, region, device and placement; on Google, the keywords and the searches people actually typed.
Every change in plain English, with who asked for it and why: “Budget cut from $50 to $10 on October 15, at the owner’s request.”
We run our own businesses’ ads on this engine. Here is how it went.
Since April 2026 Archieboy Holdings has spent about $31,700 across 98 campaigns on this engine, for its own websites. Sales are counted from our own checkout records, not from the networks’ claims. Figures as of 29 October 2026.
| Campaign | Spent | What it brought | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| BookyAwards, Meta, award entries | $11,369 | $16,354 of sales from 265 purchases, about $1.44 back for each $1 | Our steady earner |
| BookReelz, Meta, sign-ups | $6,490 | 4,530 sign-ups at about $1.43 each, and $5,729 of tracked sales | Builds our list; roughly breaks even |
| Review Copy Club, Meta, readers | $2,190 | 2,984 readers at about $0.73 each | Cheap readers; no sales expected |
| Google Search, 32 campaigns | $3,641 | 69 sign-ups and $191 of sales | Lost money: searches for our products were too few or too costly |
| ChatGPT Ads, 1 campaign | $998 | 13 free sign-ups, no sales | Lost money |
| LinkedIn, Microsoft and Reddit, 8 campaigns | $386 | Nothing | Lost money |
What we learned is built into the rules above: change budgets gradually, judge on enough results, count real sales rather than clicks, and stop what is not working before it costs much. Meta has done far more for us than Google, and for most small businesses your Chief will suggest starting on one network until it hits its target for four weeks running.
Your ad spend is yours. We take no fee on it.
Google and Meta bill your ad spend directly to your own payment method, in your own ad accounts. We never handle it and charge no fee on it.
