What the narrator says

0:00A Chief for the whole company

A Business Chief gives a company one capable point of continuity across administration, finances, customers, projects and records. It works with each member according to their role, and surfaces decisions instead of noise.

0:17Poppy, and a menu grouped by purpose

This is Westbrook Interiors, Laura Ashford's design studio, invented for this demonstration, and Poppy Whitmore, its Chief. Laura can talk to Poppy or chat, and the menu is grouped by purpose.

0:33Today: the Morning Briefing

Today starts with the Morning Briefing: the news topics the studio follows, then a snapshot of the business, read here or emailed at the time Laura sets. To add or take out anything, she simply tells Poppy.

0:49Who is waiting on the business

It covers the last closed month in Books, today's calendar, the tasks due, and everyone waiting on the studio: an overdue invoice, a quote that has gone quiet, and a customer waiting for a reply.

1:05Contacts and Money: Contacts

Under Contacts and Money, Contacts keeps prospects and clients, their quotes and invoices, and who needs following up. For the overdue invoice, Poppy has drafted a reminder for Laura to review.

1:19Books

Books closes each month with Poppy doing the sorting, looks twelve months ahead, and keeps the reports and the accountant's year-end packet.

1:30Marketing

Marketing gathers the work of finding and keeping customers: podcast interviews, press releases and search check-ups done for you, personal outreach to prospects, replies to reporters, and what is being said about the business. It has a video of its own.

1:48Your Chief: Routines and Explore Capabilities

Under Your Chief, Routines holds everything Poppy does on her own, and Explore Capabilities lists every kind of help she gives, whether a tool to open, a task to start, or ongoing work to set up.

2:04Administration

Administration holds what Poppy may reach, and who may use her: servers she looks after under approval rules Laura sets, the accounts she may sign in to, usage, and each member's access. PrivateChief Business. One capable Chief for the whole company. Find out more at privatechief.com.
