- The words are written first; tap any line to change it, then hear it sung. A song takes about two minutes.
- The finished song is sung and filmed, with its own page; Send it opens a conversation where your Chief drafts a short note and texts or emails the link once you say so.
- Every song is kept under My songs.
- On the day of a birthday or anniversary you keep track of, your Chief can offer once to make a song. Nothing is ever sent without your yes.
What the narrator says
0:00Something only you could say
A birthday card says the same thing to everyone. A song can say something only you could say.
0:08Who it is for, and a few things about them
Laura Ashford, from a family invented for this demonstration, is making one for her mother's eightieth birthday. She gives a name, the occasion, a rough age, which only sets the era of the music, and a few things about her: a memory, a running joke, what she loves.
0:28The words, line by line
Savannah, the family's Chief, writes the words. Laura can tap any line to change it, then press Hear it sung. The song takes about two minutes.
0:40The finished song, and sending it
The finished song is sung and filmed, with its own page. Send it opens a conversation where Savannah drafts a short note from Laura, and texts or emails the link once Laura says so.
0:55My songs, and birthday offers
Every song is kept under My songs. And on the day of a birthday or anniversary the family keeps track of, Savannah can offer once to make a song. Nothing is ever sent without a yes.
