PrivateChief Personal: Start Hosted Personal Today, With Nothing to Install
PrivateChief Personal can now be started online, with nothing to install and no sales call. This walkthrough follows the whole purchase, from the button on the Personal page to the moment white-glove setup begins, then shows the family's Today screen. The household, the Ashford Home, is invented for this demonstration, and the purchase was made in a test environment.

What Hosted Personal covers
- A Personal Chief on its own dedicated server that PrivateChief runs for you. There is no equipment to buy or install.
- It works through the PrivateChief app on your phones and computers: calendars, reminders, projects, research, bookings, documents, briefings and family coordination.
- It does not control devices in your home, read home sensors or run wall units; those need the in-home option.
- A one-time onboarding fee at checkout, and a monthly membership that starts only on the day your Chief is live.
- If you cancel before your Chief is live, the onboarding fee is refunded in full and the membership never starts.

You give your name, the household's name, your town, an email and a password. Laura Ashford and the Ashford Home are invented for this demonstration. The town is how the Chief knows your local weather, travel times and opening hours.

Then the Service Agreement and the exact order. If you cancel before your Chief is live, the onboarding fee is refunded in full and the membership never starts. Laura opens the documents, ticks each statement, and types her name as her signature.
