What Customers covers
- An inbox of customer conversations from email and phone, filtered by what needs a reply, what needs attention, and who is waiting on whom.
- One customer list built from conversations, quotes and invoices, showing leads, customers and outstanding balances.
- Money: the pipeline, what is owed to you, and what is overdue.
- Overdue reminders your Chief drafts for you to read, edit and send, with the invoice PDF and a payment link attached.
- Quotes to send and quotes awaiting a decision, with an optional deposit the customer can pay to accept.
- Quotes and invoices emailed as PDFs from your business's own details, only when you ask.
- Payment links created with your own connected Stripe account, so customers pay you directly. PrivateChief never holds the money or takes a cut.
What the narrator says
0:00Customers in too many places
For a small business, customers live in too many places: the inbox, the phone, the quote you meant to send, the invoice nobody paid. Customers in PrivateChief Business brings them together.
0:15The inbox: email and phone conversations
This is Westbrook Interiors, Laura Ashford's design studio, invented for this demonstration. Poppy, the studio's Chief, answers inquiries by email and phone. Priya Shah asked for a kitchen and dining room quote, and Poppy has drafted one for Laura to review.
0:35One customer list
Customers is one list, built from conversations, quotes and invoices. It shows who is still a lead, how many conversations and quotes each one has, and what they owe.
0:48Money and overdue reminders
Money shows the pipeline, what is owed, and what is overdue. The Morrisons' invoice is two weeks late, so Poppy has drafted a polite reminder. Laura reads it, edits it if she likes, and presses Send. It goes with the invoice and a payment link.
1:09Quotes and deposits
Quotes to send, and quotes waiting for the customer's decision. A quote can ask for a deposit, and when the customer pays it, the quote is accepted and the invoice is raised and settled on its own.
1:23Payment links from your own Stripe account
Payment links come from the studio's own Stripe account, so customers pay the business directly, and PrivateChief never holds the money or takes a cut. Nothing is sent, and no link is created, until Laura asks.
