What Marketing in PrivateChief Business covers
- Done-for-you Marketing: BusinessMarketing.Pro inside the app. Its team books a podcast interview about once a month, writes and pitches press releases, and runs a search check-up every week with ranked fixes.
- Your part there is to record each interview and approve each press release. Nothing is published until you approve.
- Outreach: researched, personal emails to a few serious prospects, each with the Chief's research and sources, sent from your own mailbox when you approve. The do-not-contact list is always checked.
- Source Desk: reporters' requests for expert comment, screened against your own expertise profile, with short replies drafted for you to send or skip. A fact is used only after you confirm it, and reporters who take human-written replies only are never drafted.
- Mentions: what the news, the web and forums say about your business and your people, with namesakes and your own pages left out.
- Email Lists: every mailing list across your email platforms, with its growth and its health.
- Outreach, Source Desk and Mentions do their research on the business's own ChatGPT subscription.
What the narrator says
0:00Marketing, with its own place in the menu
Most small businesses know they should do more marketing, and never find the hours. In PrivateChief Business, that work has its own place in the menu, and a Chief to do the legwork.
0:13Under the Marketing heading
This is Westbrook Interiors, Laura Ashford's design studio, invented for this demonstration. Under Marketing sit the tools that find and keep customers, and Poppy, the studio's Chief, works with all of them.
0:29Done-for-you Marketing
Done-for-you Marketing is BusinessMarketing.Pro inside the app. Its team books a podcast interview about once a month, writes and pitches press releases, and runs a search check-up every week.
0:44Approving a press release
Laura's part is small: record each interview, and approve each press release. She reads it here, edits a line if she likes, and nothing is published until she approves it.
0:56Outreach: a few serious prospects
Outreach writes to a few serious prospects at a time. Laura describes who she wants to reach, here architects and builders whose clients need a designer, and Poppy finds them and drafts a personal email to each.
1:12The research behind each email
Each draft comes with Poppy's research: who the person is, why they fit, where she found the address, what she could not confirm, and her sources.
1:25Sent from your own mailbox, when you approve
The email goes from Laura's own mailbox, offering to stop if the person would rather not hear from her, and only when she approves it. The do-not-contact list is always checked first.
1:38Source Desk: reporters' requests
Source Desk reads reporters' requests for expert comment, from services such as Help a Reporter Out. Most do not fit Laura's expertise, and are left out. This week, three did.
1:53A reply drafted for you to send
For each one that fits, Poppy drafts a short reply. Laura reads it, then sends it from her own mailbox, or skips it.
2:04Only facts you confirm
Every reply is written only from Laura's own profile. Poppy may use a fact only after Laura ticks it as true, and a reporter who takes human-written replies only is never drafted.
2:17Mentions
Mentions watches what the news, the web and forums say about the studio and about Laura. Each page is checked, so namesakes and the studio's own pages are left out. Laura can open one, have Poppy draft a post sharing it, or mark it as not about them.
2:37Email Lists
Email Lists shows every mailing list across the studio's email platforms, with its growth and its health. Outreach, Source Desk and Mentions do their research on the business's own ChatGPT subscription.
