PrivateChief Business Servers: Let Your AI Chief Look After Your Servers, Within Limits You Set

1:48 · Narrated walkthrough of the real app · Watch on YouTube

Business Servers lets a PrivateChief Business Chief work on your own servers over SSH, with a dedicated key per server, a pinned server identity, and a standing approval setting you choose for each one. The design studio in this walkthrough, Westbrook Interiors, is invented for the demonstration.

Business Servers

What Business Servers covers

  • SSH access with a different Ed25519 key for each server. Private keys stay inside the isolated Business SSH service and are never shown to the Chief or the AI model.
  • Each server's identity is confirmed once and pinned, so PrivateChief only connects to that exact machine.
  • A standing approval setting per server, chosen by the owner on the website: ask before commands; approve routine work (risky commands such as administrator commands, recursive deletes, restarts and firewall changes still ask); or full access within that server account.
  • From the app: test the connection, or run a fixed read-only inspection showing the system, uptime, disk space and failed services.
  • Discuss with your Chief to have the result explained; any fix follows that server's approval setting.
  • For the owner and administrators.

What the narrator says

0:00Servers a small business already has

Many small businesses have a server somewhere: the website, or a computer in the office. Business Servers lets your Chief look after them, within limits you set.

0:12Dedicated keys the AI never sees

This is Westbrook Interiors, Laura Ashford's design studio, invented for this demonstration. Poppy, the studio's Chief, connects over SSH, the standard secure connection for servers. Each server gets its own key, and the private keys stay inside a separate SSH service, where neither Poppy nor the AI model can see them.

0:36Pinned identity and standing approval

Laura confirms each server's identity once, and it is pinned, so PrivateChief only ever talks to that exact machine. She also sets a standing approval for each server on the website. Ask before commands means Poppy asks every time. Approve routine work lets everyday commands run, but still asks before anything risky, such as administrator commands, deleting folders, restarting, or changing the firewall. Full access works freely within that server account.

1:10Test, inspect and discuss

From the app, Laura can test a connection, or run a fixed, read-only inspection: the system, how long it has been running, disk space, and any failed services. Here, the certificate renewal service has failed. Discuss with Poppy hands the result over to explain, and if Laura asks for a fix, Poppy follows that server's approval setting and reports what she found.
