PrivateChief Home & Family: Home Maintenance, Appliances, Chores and Important Dates
Home & Family is the PrivateChief screen for running the house: maintenance that is due, the record of every appliance and system, loose ends worth a look, who is doing which chores, and your important dates. It gathers records PrivateChief already keeps rather than adding another list. The household in this walkthrough, the Ashfords, is invented for the demonstration, and so is every appliance and brand shown.

What the narrator says
0:00The house, and who is doing what
Running a house means remembering a lot of small things: the filter, the warranty, whose turn it is. Home and Family puts them on one screen, from records PrivateChief already keeps.
0:15Maintenance due now
This is the Ashfords, a family invented for this demonstration. Due now lists home maintenance in the next thirty days, with who is doing it. The smoke detectors are two days overdue, and each item has a Done button.
0:30Appliances and systems
Appliances and systems is the home's own record. The make and model, the last four characters of the serial, the documents on file, who services it, and its maintenance schedule.
0:44A maintenance plan suggested by your Chief
The sump pump has no maintenance recorded, so it is flagged. Suggest a schedule asks Savannah, the family's Chief, to propose one, and she adds only what Laura agrees to. A new appliance starts with a photo of its rating plate or receipt.
1:03Worth a look
Worth a look gathers the loose ends. A warranty about to expire, the last spare furnace filter, and a door sensor with a low battery.
1:14Who is doing what
Who is doing what shows every open household task by person, each with its own Done button.
1:23Important dates, private to you
And your important dates: Grandma Ruth's birthday on Saturday, and the anniversary next month. Home records and chores are shared with the household. Important dates are yours alone.
