PrivateChief Membership: Start Online, for Your Household and Every Business
A PrivateChief membership looks after your household and any number of businesses, each with its own Chief, on one dedicated server we run for you. This walkthrough follows the whole online start, from the pricing page to the moment white-glove setup begins, then shows the household's Today screen and the business menu. Laura Ashford, the Ashford Home and her design studio, Westbrook Interiors, are invented for this demonstration, and the purchase was made in a test environment.

What the PrivateChief membership covers
- One membership for your household and any number of businesses, on one dedicated server that PrivateChief hosts, patches, monitors and backs up.
- Each business is its own separate workspace, with its own Books, contacts, tools, documents, customer desk, Chief and members. Adding a business later has no setup fee and no extra membership fee.
- Started online from privatechief.com, with no call needed. You can still book a private consultation first.
- A one-time onboarding fee at checkout, and a monthly membership that starts only on the day your Chief is live.
- Cancel before your Chief is live and the onboarding fee is refunded in full. Cancel within 30 days of go-live and the onboarding fee and first month are refunded; metered AI usage and setup done in person are not refundable.
- No equipment required. Wall units, and a Home Assistant box for controlling devices at home, are optional and bought directly.
- Payment through Stripe. Setup starts straight away, with the first two short questions by email within one business day.
What the narrator says
0:00One membership, started online
One PrivateChief membership looks after your household and every business you run, each with its own Chief. You can start it online, with no equipment to buy and no sales call.
0:13The pricing page
It begins on the pricing page at privatechief.com: one membership, for your household and every business. It covers a household and any number of businesses, on one dedicated server that we run for you. The first button starts it online today. If you would rather talk first, the one beside it books a private consultation.
0:39What you pay, and when
The sign-up page sets out what you pay: a one-time onboarding fee today, and a monthly membership that starts only on the day your Chief is live.
0:51What one membership covers
It also says what the membership covers. Each business is its own separate workspace, with its own books, contacts, documents, Chief and members. They share only the server, and adding a business later has no setup fee and no extra membership fee.
1:10Household, business, or both
You give your name, and choose what your Chief should look after first: your household, your business, or both. Laura Ashford chooses both, for the Ashford Home and her design studio, Westbrook Interiors. Laura and her studio are invented for this demonstration.
1:29Your town, email and password
Then your town, which your Chief uses for local weather, travel times and opening hours, an email and a password. Nothing is charged at this step.
1:41The Service Agreement and the exact order
Next comes the Service Agreement, with the exact order it covers: the one-time setup, and the monthly membership, which starts on the day your Chief is live.
1:53Before go-live, and the 30-day money-back
The order states its promises plainly. Cancel before your Chief is live, and the onboarding fee is refunded in full and the membership never starts. Cancel within thirty days of going live, and the onboarding fee and the first month are refunded. Metered AI usage, and setup done in person, are not refundable.
2:14No equipment required, and signing
No equipment is required. Wall units, and a Home Assistant box for controlling devices at home, are optional, and you buy them directly. Laura opens the documents, ticks each statement, and types her name as her signature.
2:32Paying the onboarding fee through Stripe
Then one button pays the onboarding fee and starts setup. Stripe keeps the card for the membership, so nothing more is charged until the Chief is live.
2:45White-glove setup begins
That is the whole purchase. White-glove setup starts at once. Within one business day, the first two short questions arrive by email, and your PrivateChief is built on its own dedicated server. The membership begins on the day it goes live, and not before.
3:03The household's own Chief
From then on, the household has its own Chief, here Savannah Brooks, on every phone and computer in the house. Today puts the calendar, the to-do list and the follow-ups onto one screen.
3:17The business's own Chief
And Westbrook Interiors has its own workspace and its own Chief, Poppy Whitmore, with the Business menu: Today, Contacts and Money, Marketing, Your Chief, and Administration.
