PrivateChief Connected Accounts: Let Your Chief Use Website Logins, Safely
Connected Accounts lets your PrivateChief work on the websites a household depends on, such as the electric company, the pharmacy or a card account, while each login stays with the person who owns it. The household in this walkthrough, the Ashfords, is invented for the demonstration, and every company and account on screen is made up.

What Connected Accounts does
- Keeps each account with the family member who added it; only the owner can edit it or reveal its saved login.
- Lets the owner share an account's use with selected family members, who can ask the Chief to use it but can never see the username or password.
- Encrypts a login on your own device with your home system's key before it is sent; the home refuses one that is not encrypted, and the AI model never receives your password.
- Opens a real browser on your PrivateChief where you sign in yourself, including any code or CAPTCHA, then hand that window to your Chief; you can watch, and the live view is not recorded.
- Syncs personal contacts from your phone so your Chief can find people and businesses; the list stays private on your home system and out of the conversational AI.
- Gives Books a fallback when a bank cannot be reached through Plaid.
What the narrator says
0:00Your logins, private and shared with care
Some jobs need a website login: the electric company, the pharmacy, a card account. Connected Accounts lets your Chief work on those sites, while each login stays with the person who owns it.
0:14Accounts belong to the person who adds them
This is Laura Ashford's list, from a family invented for this demonstration. Each account belongs to the family member who adds it. Only the owner can edit it, or reveal its saved login.
0:29What each account card shows
Each card shows the service, who owns it, and whether a username and password are saved. The town recreation account has no password yet, so it carries a warning. Sam's hockey registration belongs to Michael, who has shared it with Laura.
0:46Sharing without revealing the login
The owner decides who may use an account. Michael can ask Savannah, the family's Chief, to use the Harbor Card account, and open its secure browser. He can never see Laura's saved username or password.
1:01Encrypted on your device
A login is encrypted on your own device with your home system's key before it is sent. The home refuses one that is not, and the AI model never receives your password.
1:15The secure browser handoff
Open secure browser starts a real browser on your PrivateChief. You sign in yourself, including any code or CAPTCHA, then hand that exact window to Savannah. You can watch while she works, and the live view is not recorded.
1:32Personal contacts
Personal contacts, synced from your phone, let Savannah find people and businesses without asking for their number. They stay private to you, on your home system, and the full list stays out of the conversational AI.
1:48A fallback for Books
Connected Accounts also back up Books. When a bank cannot be reached through Plaid, Books opens that account's secure browser, and after your handoff, Savannah retrieves the statement.
