PrivateChief Courses: Learn Anything With One Short Email a Day
Courses is the PrivateChief tool for learning something new without finding the hour: pick a course and it arrives as one short email each morning at 9 AM Eastern. Reading the email is the whole course, with no website, no logins and no homework portal. The household in this walkthrough, the Ashfords, is invented for the demonstration; the courses and categories shown are from the real catalog.

What the narrator says
0:00Learn anything, one email a day
Most of us mean to learn something new, and never find the hour. Courses turns learning into one short email each morning, with nothing to sign in to and nothing to keep up with.
0:14Laura's Courses screen
This is Laura Ashford's Courses screen, from a family invented for this demonstration. Pick any course, and it arrives as one short email each morning at nine, Eastern time. Reading the email is the whole course. No website, no logins, and no homework portal.
0:34Progress, pause and resume
My courses shows how far along each one is. Laura is on slide three of lesson four in Spanish one oh one, and reading each email counts as finishing that slide. Stop emails ends the daily lessons. Her budgeting course is paused with her place kept, so Resume emails picks up where she left off. And her history course is finished, all eighteen lessons read.
0:59Browse the catalog by category
To find something new, pick a category. Every course shows how many lessons it has, and about how many hours of reading. Laura is already taking Spanish one oh one, so it is marked Enrolled.
1:14Enroll asks first
Enroll asks once before anything starts. French one oh one would arrive as one short email each morning, free with the PrivateChief membership.
1:27Search for a subject
Or search for a subject. French finds two courses, a beginner course of eighteen lessons and an intermediate one of twenty.
1:37Just ask your Chief
You can also just ask. Laura asks for help photographing the kids, and Savannah, the family's Chief, offers the two best matches and checks which one she wants before enrolling her. Asked to sign Michael up too, Savannah explains that each person chooses courses for themselves.
1:56Each person enrolls for themselves
That is the rule on the screen as well. Enrollment is for you only, so each family member enrolls from their own phone, and up to ten courses can run at once. The lessons themselves come from an Archieboy learning site.
