PrivateChief Advice & Consulting: Specialist Advisors Who Already Know Your Household

2:11 · Narrated walkthrough of the real app · Watch on YouTube

Advice & Consulting is the PrivateChief room of specialist advisors: financial, tax, legal, insurance, estate and legacy, real estate, home and property, motoring, medical and health, travel, and Opportunities. They share your household's records and your Chief, so they start from what you have already told them, and each keeps its own lasting file on its subject. The household in this walkthrough, the Ashfords, is invented for the demonstration, and so is every policy, company and figure shown.

The advisors do the work themselves. When a result carries legal, financial or medical weight, the advisor says so and recommends that your lawyer, accountant, adviser or clinician review it before it is signed, filed or relied on.

Advice & Consulting

What Advice & Consulting does

  • Eleven specialists sharing the same household records and the same Chief, each with its own lasting file.
  • Talk or type with any advisor, and pick up where you left off days later.
  • A short setup per advisor for what it should always know.
  • Ideas for the things people usually bring to each advisor, asked all at once and pre-filled from your household file.
  • Results land where you can use them: an answer, a document, a project with tasks, the calendar, follow-ups or a letter ready to send.

What the narrator says

0:00Specialists who know your household

Most household questions need a specialist, and most specialists start by asking what you already told someone else. Advice and Consulting gives you specialists who already know your household.

0:15The advisor room

This is Laura Ashford's room, from a family invented for this demonstration. Financial, tax, legal, insurance, estate, real estate, home, motoring, medical and travel advisors, and Opportunities. They share the same records and the same Chief, and each keeps its own lasting file on its own subject.

0:39Talk, type, or pick an idea

Open one, and you can talk, type, or pick an idea. Everything discussed stays in one file, so Laura can talk about her insurance on Tuesday, type on Friday, and pick up where she left off.

0:54What the advisor should know

Setup is what the advisor should know before you ask anything. Her policies and carriers, the renewal dates, her agent, and the one home claim from 2019.

1:07Ideas: the usual questions, asked up front

Ideas are the things people usually bring to that advisor. Am I covered for this? Should I file this claim? A renewal check, or a room-by-room home inventory. Each one asks its questions up front.

1:22Should I file this claim?

Sunday's storm lifted shingles over the garage. The policy is already filled in from her household file, so Laura only adds what happened, the roofer's estimate, and her deductible, and presses Start.

1:38The advisor does the work

The advisor does the arithmetic, remembers the earlier claim and the renewal date, and offers to draft a question to her agent. When an answer carries legal, financial or medical weight, the advisor says so, and recommends a professional review it before it is signed, filed or relied on.
